Great place to walk the dog an get some exercise in general. The local kids are loving the new skate park the council recently built. Good to see kids out enjoying the fresh air for a change an not stuck in front of a computer or tablet.

I haven't explored this park. I just passed in the early morning and saw beautiful mist covered the ground. The sunrise rays playing through the tree branches casted pretty shadows.

Plenty of space to explore. Gates are normally locked. Still access to park on foot.A lot of walk trails along the river and with enough nature and wild life to see.

Hester Park is a great nature reserve to walk your dog, run out the kids, ride your bike or drop in your kayak or canoe (due to refurbishment you are currently unableto do that). There is one free bbq facility near Ward Ct with a sheltered picnic table and bin but at the moment at the Nicholson Rd end there is only sheltered picnic tables. This area in particular is going through the refurbishment and there is no access to the carpark. I use the street that runs parallel to the reserve just off Spencer Rd at the moment (sorry I am not sure of the name). There are currently no toilet facilities but this maybe addressed once the council works are done. I will leave an updated description once is complete. If you head down in the late afternoon you will see an abundance of the local small marsupials (bilbys and water rodents) as they scurry around for there dinner.

Hester Park
A reasonably nice area along Canning river with paths to walk, seats, shady areas, open areas, and places for sport. However I feel that the area could be improved. Worth a visit but there is nothing special to attract people, and recreational amenities are pretty much non-existent.
