Loved the location next to the Blackwood River. Boyup is close enough to other towns and tourist spots. Park is quiet and small

Excellent little park,CMCA have taken over.Clean amenities and the river setting. The lawned area needs improvement was what stopped giving it 5 stars.I will definitely be telling my fellow travellers to go there.

Great little park. Close to town which has a great stocked IGA. Lots of history. Short walk into town centre if your feeling up to it.

Nice spot by the river. A bit pricey though. The amenities really need to be updated. But its nice and quiet. A bit uncomfortable that people not staying at the park sneak in in the evening to use the washing machine, leaving site paying people unable to do theirs.

Lovely little park beside the river, now jointly managed by CMCA and the Shire. Volunteer custodian there at the time of my visit was very welcoming, friendly and informative. Good amenities and good sized sites. Fortunately it was a bit quiet during my 3 day stay as the Shire did not once show up to clean the amenities. If someone had wanted an ensuite site they would have been out of luck as they had not been cleaned. Boyup Shire doesn’t seem to have learnt anything from our recent and ongoing pandemic. CMCA needs to jump on this as word will soon get around that amenities are being neglected.

A very disappointing so far and we are only half way through our stay. The current 2 caretakers have been very unprofessional and unfriendly. In our 13 years of camping, at least 6 times a year, with our family and friends we have never experienced this type of treatment and micromanaging type behaviour from any other managers or caretakers ever. The 1st evening my daughter was taking a walk around the caravan park and tried to go the nearest ablution block to use it, however she was refused entry by the caretakers and explained that as her parents had paid for an ensuite site, she was only allowed to use the toilet on our site. So our daughter had to walk all the way back to the other end of the park to use the toilet. This has never happened to us before. We've been accused of moving or stealing a large council recycling bin (which we never actually laid eyes on).Told EXACTLY where we have to have our dog tied up on our site (we tend to try and move him to where he can have shade). They've shown complete disregard for respect and some level of privacy by walking thru the middle of our site thru the day without any warning (we've never had any other caretakers do this).Tonight our children were playing cards, laughing and have a great time when the caretaker stormed onto our site and told the children they needed to quieten down and wind up their activities, as they were being too loud.I immediately apologised to the caretaker and asked, is it 10pm already?!? She said no, so I explained her I was more than happy to oblige and that as soon as it turned 10pm the noise would stop and they'll be quiet- I was then very abruptly told by her, 'No, I'm telling you, you need to wind it down NOW and end it!!!'Our friends were just talking in a group (no loud yelling or shouting, no loud music, none of us are big drinkers) and were also told PRIOR to 10pm to wind things up and return to their sites and go to bed.To top it off, they've also threatened to kick us out of the caravan park because we were 'being rude' to them by being 'too noisy'! (All before 10pm)Our friends were told 3 times to move their car, as it encroached onto an empty site by a few centimetres. They had just arrived and were still unloading and setting up. They moved it by the early evening and a day before anyone else turned up to use the site next to them.So if you have children that enjoy playing games, or like a nice catchup chatting and laughing with friends and want to be able to stay up quietly past 10pm, I 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND Boyup BrookCaravan Park.Everyone else we've interacted with in town has been lovely and very friendly. So its such a shame that one business that can inject some extra tourism and cash for the other local business's is failing Boyup Brook miserably as unfortunately we will not be returning again- unless the caretakers change!
