Wungong Park

This is a lovely park, it is a nice long walk with pathways & playthings along the way for children. But my favourite is the zipline for young & old! I went on it a few times....& I'm old lol my sister had to drag me off it. But the best part is looking at the wonderful lake full of wildlife, there are so many species of birds, if you go at sunset, you will see the pelicans, Ibis, ducks & other species flying in every night to roost, the Ibis rest in the trees, there are Swans, Heron many water birds.The downfall is all the rubbish collecting on the lake side of the fence with could put wildlife in danger, there is alot of tall weeds that needs eradicating before it gets totally out of control & of course I had to scare off a cat heading for the birds. People please keep your cats INSIDE...mine are and becareful there are Tiger snake's & Dugites in these lakes.

A natural parkland added to the Springtime Estate located off Armadale Road in Haynes. An inclusive children's play park and extensive walking paths with spacious grass area and adult excercice equipment complete with bbq and seating compliments this family orientated estate. No public toilets as this is for residents of the estate but there are toilets within the Haynes shopping centre close by.This lakeside parkland is a pleasure to enjoy at various times in the day. A variety of birdlife and wide concrete walk ways allowing any scooters, bikes, ability needs or prams to safely explore the meandering naturalistic landscape design. Addition of fencing along the main lake area protects birdlife and adds extra safety to the park.

Very nice views for a local park for residents.

A hidden gem on Wattledale Road, Springtime Estate, Haynes. Lovely outlook over a large lake full of swans and other water birds. Very cool looking modern playground with a zip line etc. Roadside parking.
